One of the “forgotten” consequences of a criminal case is the possible effect on a person’s driver’s license. After all, even an arrest for a DUI can lead to a lengthy license suspension. A conviction for DUI (not to mention a second or subsequent offense) might lead to a person’s license being REVOKED for many years. Even point accumulation, drug offenses, and other traffic offenses can result in significant loss of driving privileges in the State of Michigan.
